Dr.Magesh Rajagopal

Dr.Magesh Rajagopal had been working as a psychiatrist in the United Kingdom for the last 20 years. He moved back to India 5 years ago intending to serve people. After moving back to India, he established a Psychiatric Clinic with various sub-specialties including General Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, Substance misuse services, and marriage counseling. Subsequently, he has also commenced the Rehabilitation Center, (located in Nachikurichi, Trichy) for patients who suffer from persistent and chronic mental health symptoms to help them to enhance their lives and rehabilitate in the community. Recently, Dr.Magesh Rajagopal has designed a De-Addiction program for those who battle from the recovery of Alcohol and drugs which would also help them to regain their lives by learning coping strategies for addiction. Our De-Addiction Centre’s goal is to provide a combination of various therapies and support groups for people with substance misuse who could also rehabilitate their lives with new hope and confidence in society. Overall, those 3 institutions have their name ‘Aram’ with the meaning of servicing people with mental illness and of breaking the stigma associated with mental illness. In addition, Dr.Magesh Rajagopal has been giving training for interns, going to various colleges to spread awareness on the essence of mental health and the consequences of substances among people, and also shares his insights of psychological tips on various Social Platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook as much as he could reach out for people. In his experience of 20 years, he gained high standard qualities of good leadership skills, emotional intelligence, a good team spirit, and managerial talent to manage all over the institutions.
