On behalf of Aram Psychiatry Hospital, Ms. Akila, Psychiatric Social Worker, delivered a speech on parental guidance at Intact Special School, Sathanur. The session focused on how to raise young women with self-confidence, responsibility, and respect for their parents. At the beginning of the session, an introduction to Intellectual Disability, ADHD, and Autism was discussed in detail. The talk also covered the role of scribes for differently-abled individuals and strategies for managing parental stress when caring for children with behavioral challenges. The program concluded with an interactive session, during which participants engaged actively. A total of 30 parents benefited from this initiative.
